A Fallout fan's dream comes true: Bethesda releases working replica of Pip-Boy 3000
Let's be honest, most Fallout fans have secretly dreamed of a working Pip-Boy model like the characters in the cult post-apocalyptic franchise.
Bethesda knows its audience's desires well and has opened pre-orders for a functional replica of the Pip-Boy 3000.
What is known
The replica fully replicates the retro-futuristic in-game computers from Fallout 3 and New Vegas and provides all the same capabilities as in the games: the user can check the "character's status", open a map of virtual Washington or the Mojave Desert, listen to the radio, and even launch the mini-game Atomic Command.
You can press a few more "menu" buttons, and that's where the functionality of the gadget with an LCD display ends. The device's body is made of plastic, and its front panel is made of metal. The Pip-Boy weighs 724 grams with dimensions of 178×130×130 mm. Scale — 1:1.
The cost of the Pip-Boy 3000 is $300. Deliveries are expected to begin by the summer of 2026.
Of course, the question arises: who needs such a toy, and we offer two possible answers: true Fallout fans who collect merch collections and cosplayers who can enhance their look with a working Pip-Boy.
