They laughed but bought: Apple sold out an unusual iPhone Pocket accessory in just one day

Earlier this week Apple announced an unusual and at first glance strange accessory, the iPhone Pocket, which was positioned as a small bag/case that conveniently carries the iPhone.

The new product from Apple and Issey Miyake looks stylish, but many laughed at it, calling it an “iPhone sock” and genuinely couldn't understand who would buy it for $149 (short bag) and $229 (long).

As it turned out, Apple knew what it was doing and when sales of the iPhone Pocket started on November 14, the unusual case sold out in one day!

Apple immediately stated that the product would be released in a limited edition, but judging by the hype, there's a chance that the company will release another batch, especially since the iPhone Pocket page is not removed from the official Apple store.
