Samsung introduced the Smart Keyboard — a new wireless keyboard specifically designed for Galaxy ecosystem users. The device combines a minimalist design, enhanced connectivity features, and AI integration.

What's known

The Smart Keyboard comes in a compact tenkeyless form factor, with a key pitch of 19 mm — similar to Galaxy Book laptops. The body is made of aluminum, emphasizing the device's premium quality. The keyboard is available in black and weighs only 412 g.

The new product supports Bluetooth 5.4 and can connect to three devices simultaneously — for example, a smartphone, tablet, and computer. Switching between them is done using special keys. The keyboard is optimized for working with Galaxy Book, Galaxy Tab, and Galaxy smartphones, but is also compatible with other Bluetooth devices.

Samsung focuses on AI integration: the Smart Keyboard features a dedicated AI Key that launches Bixby, Google Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot — depending on the device. There is also a DeX Key for quick access to Samsung DeX mode, turning a smartphone or tablet into a full-fledged working PC.

Unlike many modern keyboards, the Smart Keyboard operates on a replaceable CR2032 battery, rather than a built-in rechargeable one. This solution avoids regular recharging but may not appeal to those who prefer rechargeable devices.

The official price of the Smart Keyboard is $109. The keyboard is expected to go on sale in November 2025 in key markets, including the USA, South Korea, and Europe.
