Casio introduced two G-Shock watch models — Rock Crab and Albatross, dedicated to the wildlife of the Galapagos Islands
The Japanese brand Casio continues its cooperation with environmental organizations and, together with the Charles Darwin Foundation, presented watches dedicated to the wildlife of the Galapagos Islands.
What is known
Casio unveiled two models of watches G-Shock — Rock Crab (GA-B2100DF-4A) and Albatross (GA-B2100DF-1A).
The first version is made in a bright red-orange color, referring to the color of the Sally Lightfoot crab, which inhabits the Galapagos Islands. The emblem of the crab is also on the small dial.
The Albatross version (GA-B2100DF-1A) is made in a dark gray color with yellow accents and features a dial that changes sheen depending on the viewing angle. An albatross is depicted on the small additional dial.
Both models retain the usual GA-B2100 functions: shock resistance, water resistance up to 20 bar, world time, stopwatch, timer, five alarms, and dual LED indicator.
The case and strap of the watch are made of bioplastic.
The claimed operating time is 7 months without solar charging and 18 months in power-saving mode.
