SpaceX conducted the 150th Falcon 9 launch in 2025 and deployed 29 Starlink satellites
On Saturday, November 22, at 2:53 AM Eastern Time (07:53 GMT), SpaceX conducted the milestone 150th launch of the Falcon 9 rocket in 2025. From the SLC-40 pad at Cape Canaveral, the rocket deployed 29 more Starlink satellites into orbit for global internet coverage.
What is known
Exactly 65 minutes after launch, the 6-79 group of satellites separated from the rocket's upper stage. The first stage of the Falcon 9 successfully returned and landed for the ninth time on the autonomous platform "A Shortfall of Gravitas" in the Atlantic Ocean.
"Falcon 9 performs its 150th launch in 2025," stated SpaceX on social media. According to satellite monitoring expert Jonathan McDowell, the total number of active Starlink satellites has exceeded 9,000, and SpaceX has launched over 10,400 since 2019.
This flight also became the 568th launch of the Falcon 9 since the rocket debuted in 2010.
