Xiaomi Sound Pocket, a budget speaker with 5W speaker and 1000mAh battery, debuted in Europe
Xiaomi released the portable Sound Pocket speaker in Europe, which combines ultra-compact design and affordability. The device weighs only 200 grams and measures 90.8 × 74.4 × 42.6 mm, making it easy to fit in a pocket or small bag. For its stylish appearance, the speaker previously received the prestigious Red Dot award.
What is known
Despite its miniature dimensions, the Sound Pocket is equipped with a 5W speaker and passive radiator and supports the function of pairing two speakers into a stereo pair, but still do not expect loud premium-class sound from it. The built-in 1000mAh battery provides up to 10 hours of autonomous operation, and the IP67 protection standard guarantees resistance to dust and short-term immersion in water.
Bluetooth 5.4 is used for connection, a built-in microphone is provided for calls, and an intelligent volume control system and automatic equalizer adjust the sound to the surrounding environment.
Xiaomi Sound Pocket is already available for sale at a price of about €17–20, making it one of the most affordable portable speakers on the market.
