Honor has released budget smartwatches Watch X5 with a large AMOLED display and extensive sports features
Honor introduced the Watch X5 smartwatch — an affordable model with a large AMOLED screen and advanced sports features.
What's known
The watch has an aluminum case with a thickness of only 9.99 mm and a weight of 29 g, and the display with a diagonal of 1.97” and a resolution of 390×450 pixels with a refresh rate of 60 Hz occupies more than 82% of the front surface.
The screen supports Always-On Display and the Raise-to-Wake function, and the glass is made using 2.5D technology.
The watch is aimed at people leading an active lifestyle: 120 training modes are available, built-in GPS supporting BeiDou, GPS, Galileo, and QZSS, as well as water and dust protection to 5ATM and IP68 standards, allowing them to be used while swimming. Additionally, NFC support for contactless payments is implemented. Control is carried out through a multifunctional button and a rotating crown.
Honor Watch X5 can operate up to 14 days in standard mode and about 7 days with active use of Always-On Display and GPS.
The novelty is already available on the Chinese market, and its price is $63 (converted from yuan), making the Honor Watch X5 one of the most affordable offerings on the market with this set of features.
