The creators of Elden Ring Nightreign unveiled a trailer for the new character Scholar from The Forsaken Hollows expansion

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware studio presented a trailer dedicated to the character "Scholar", who will appear in the cooperative game Elden Ring Nightreign with the release of The Forsaken Hollows expansion.

What is known

According to the footage shown, the Scholar is able to handle melee weapons, but it's not his specialty. He is a support character who prefers to stay away from the center of battle and uses his extensive knowledge of enemies, inflicting negative effects on them.

Aesthetically, the Scholar somewhat resembles characters from another iconic game by Japanese developers — Bloodborne, and his magical abilities have much in common with the spells from the hardcore action game of 2015.

The Forsaken Hollows expansion will be released on December 4 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, and besides the Scholar, it will add another character — the Undertaker.
