Along with the global release of affordable flagship smartphones Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra, Xiaomi has introduced the new Poco Pad X1 tablet of a similar class.

What is known

Poco Pad X1 features an 11.2” IPS display with a resolution of 3.2K (2136 × 3200 pixels), a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 800 nits. The screen supports Adaptive HDR and displays up to 68 billion colors.

Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 732 graphics, which is 60% more powerful than the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 used in previous models. The tablet is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage, ensuring fast app launching and comfortable multimedia work.

The Pad X1 offers modest cameras: a 13 MP main camera with 4K video recording at 30 FPS and an 8 MP front camera. The 8850 mAh battery ensures long battery life and supports 45W fast charging.

The novelty does not support 5G or LTE connectivity but offers Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.

The tablet's body thickness is 6.18 mm, and it weighs only 500 grams. Poco Pad X1 belongs to the mid-range tablets, offering excellent features — 144 Hz display, powerful processor, and large battery — at a more affordable price than flagship tablets.

The Poco Pad X1 is priced at $400, but first buyers will get the device for $350. A branded keyboard-case can be purchased separately for $200 and a stylus for $100.
