Xiaomi has launched a new S40 Pro robot vacuum cleaner on the European market, marking a significant update to the lineup. This is an improved model of the basic S40, which was released a few weeks ago.

What is known

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40 Pro has a suction power of up to 15,000 Pa - this is 50% more than the standard S40 version. Thanks to this power, the vacuum cleaner can handle not only dust and small debris but also more difficult dirt.

The vacuum cleaner operates in both dry and wet cleaning modes, and also supports multi-room scenarios. The design includes a roller brush with hair entanglement protection, a side brush for cleaning along walls, and two round mops rotating at speeds of up to 180 rpm. A feature of the model is the retractable nozzle, which allows for thorough cleaning of corners, where dirt usually remains, as most robot vacuum models cannot reach them.

Three adjustable water supply levels allow for precise adjustment of cleaning intensity. If you have carpets, the mop automatically lifts to prevent them from getting wet, and in general, the robot vacuum can overcome thresholds up to 20 mm high.

The S40 Pro supports an advanced room mapping system and voice command management, for example, through Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

Unfortunately, the vacuum cleaner does not have a self-cleaning function.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S40 Pro is already available in European stores for around €300.
