The range of Xiaomi 17 smartphones debuted in China in September and attracted huge public interest. Soon, the basic version of the smartphone will reach the global market and it is already known that it will be accompanied by an as-yet-unreleased Ultra model.

What is known

Previously, insiders reported that Xiaomi 17 Ultra will revolutionize the photo flagship market — it will receive the largest main camera sensor in the industry and introduce a new generation of periscope telephoto lens technology exclusively developed by Xiaomi.

Now, Polish insider Kacper Skrzypek has shown what the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will look like in two colors — black and beige. Notably, the device is shown with an attached Photography Kit accessory, which gives the smartphone more resemblance to a digital camera and further emphasizes its focus.

The shown images confirm that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will not have an additional display at the back like the Pro and Pro Max, as all the space is occupied by a massive round camera module.

According to insider Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be practically indistinguishable from the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max and will have the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor as well as a 6.8″ flat OLED display with 2K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
