In September at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, Playground Games and Xbox officially announced Forza Horizon 6 — a racing game set in Japan. In the debut trailer, the release date is marked as “2026,” and since games of this scale usually come out in the fall, gamers were counting on this period. However, the developers' plans may be different.

What is known

Respected insider NateTheHate2 reported that Forza Horizon 6 could come out significantly earlier than the public expects. According to him, the developers are aiming for the first quarter of 2026.

If NateTheHate2's information is correct, expect Microsoft to ramp up its marketing campaign and possibly present the first gameplay trailer at the year's biggest show — The Game Awards 2025.

Forza Horizon 6 will be released on PC and Xbox Series and will immediately be available in the Game Pass catalog, and will soon debut on PlayStation 5. All those interested can already add the game to their wish list.
