A couple of months ago, Aston Martin drew attention with its $3000 baby stroller. Not wanting to give all the fun to the competitor, Mercedes introduced four of its own stroller models, developed in collaboration with German expert Hartan.

What is known

The strollers are called Performance, Avantgarde, All-Terrain, and Mercedes-AMG GT2. The first three models are made using vegan leather substitute and are available in five colors: Rubellite, Opalite, Tartufo, Vintage Blue, and Verde Silver.

The Performance model is equipped with a Quick-Fix safe harness system and a bassinet with an adjustable backrest.

The Avantgarde features a telescopic handle, saving tall parents from bending over, and short ones from overextending.

As you might guess from the name, the All-Terrain is equipped with chunkier tires, perfect for unpaved surfaces, and also has a hand brake.

Despite its name, the Mercedes-AMG GT2 is not made for the racetrack. It is the most compact model in the range, designed to fold neatly into the trunk.

It is also equipped with AMG spoked wheels and has cognac-colored details, including decorative stitching and an embroidered AMG logo on the sun visor.

All four Mercedes strollers come with adjustable suspension and the Bag2Go accessory that attaches to the handles. Parents wanting the ultimate luxury can even order special gloves.

Prices for the strollers start at approximately €1599 ($1800) and rise to €1999 ($2300), depending on the country and model. The warranty is three years. Available for purchase on the Hartan website.
