Sony will become the publisher of a new cooperative shooter by the creator of Left 4 Dead — the company has signed a cooperation agreement with Bad Robot Games

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a partnership with Bad Robot Games — the video game division of the studio of the same name, headed by well-known producer J.J. Abrams (Jeffrey Jacob Abrams), who was responsible for creating many famous media projects, including the franchises Star Wars, Star Trek, and “Cloverfield”.

Sony will publish Bad Robot Games' debut project — a four-player cooperative shooter led by the famous game designer Mike Booth, the creator of the cult Left 4 Dead. This game was released in 2008 and still serves as the standard for cooperative shooters.

Sony highly values this collaboration and the potential of the first game from Bad Robot, emphasized Christian Svensson, Vice President of the Japanese company. He noted that the studio's style perfectly matches the PlayStation brand and will surely appeal to gamers.

It is officially confirmed that the currently unnamed shooter will be released on PC and PlayStation 5.
