Media: In mid-2026, Samsung will introduce Galaxy Watch 9 and flagship Galaxy Watch Ultra 2

Samsung is developing new flagship smartwatches, information about which has been shared by the Dutch portal GalaxyClub.

What is known

The authors of the material reported that within the company, the watches are being developed under the name Watch 9 Ultra, but they will most likely be released as Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 — this is exactly how the Korean manufacturer did a few years ago when they released the first Galaxy Watch Ultra, which was developed as Watch 7 Ultra.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will be unveiled simultaneously with the simpler Galaxy Watch 9 model in mid-2026. If Samsung adheres to its watch release schedule, the new products will be presented in July, probably simultaneously with the flagship Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 smartphones.
