The Dark Angels Enter the Fray: Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV Story Trailer Showcases a Key Faction and Reveals the Appearance of an Iconic Character
Studio KING Art has introduced the story trailer for the strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, which not only showcases one of the key factions, but also delights fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe with the return of an iconic character.
What is Known
The authors focused on the Dark Angels — one of the elite groups of space marines, which will become a playable sub-faction in Dawn of War IV. The Dark Angels are led by the iconic primarch Lion El’Jonson, whose face is hidden by a helmet, but his shield leaves no doubt about the identity of this mighty warrior.
The trailer also showcases completely new units, including a Chaplain on a motorcycle, Necron Skorpekh Destroyers, and Ork Beastbosses.
The events of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV will once again unfold on the planet Kronus, where four factions will fight for power.
The campaigns of Dawn of War IV will feature over seventy missions, where players must not only competently lead troops but also make difficult decisions that affect the development of the storyline. There will also be optional side quests that will reward players with valuable prizes upon completion.
Despite the focus on storyline single-player campaigns, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV will also please players with traditional online modes where large-scale battles can be arranged.
When to Expect
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV will be released in 2026 exclusively on PC (Steam).
