Media reports have appeared about a new charging device from Samsung, which is being developed for Galaxy S26 series smartphones.

What is known

The reputable German portal WinFuture reported that simultaneous with the new smartphones, a wireless charger with a power of 25W will be released.

The device received the catalog number EP-P2900 and will be available in dark gray color and compatible with Galaxy S series smartphones, foldable Galaxy Z, as well as with Galaxy Buds wireless headphones.

Currently, Samsung offers wireless charging according to the Qi2 standard, but its power is only 15W. Thus, the new device will allow smartphones to charge almost twice as fast. Although there are rumors that such speed will be available only to users of the flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus models will support 20W.

According to insiders, the Galaxy Unpacked event, where the Galaxy S26 line will be presented, will take place on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco, but there is no official information yet.
