The first mass-market smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery is close to release — Honor X80 has passed certification in China
Thanks to insiders, we have long known that the Honor brand is preparing at least three smartphones with a 10,000 mAh battery, and one of them has already appeared in the CQC (China Quality Certificate) certification database.
What is known
We are talking about the Honor X80 model, which, according to the presented documents, indeed has a lithium-ion polymer battery with a capacity of 10,000 mAh. For comparison, the previous model, Honor X70, has a battery of 8,300 mAh, which is also a very high indicator.
The release of such a smartphone will be a big step not only for Honor but also a record figure for mass-market smartphone models.
In addition to this information, certification confirms that the Honor X80 will support 5G. There are no more details yet, but the fact of issuing the certificate indicates the imminent release of the new product.
