The dark action Phantom Blade Zero has been garnering huge public interest for several years. The Korean studio S-GAME is actively releasing spectacular trailers, emphasizing a deep combat system and promising that the game will be thrilling, yet not overly complicated. However, it has not revealed the main thing - its release date.

What is known

The organizer and host of The Game Awards 2025, Geoff Keighley, announced that at the grand show, which will take place on the night of December 12, there will be a big presentation of Phantom Blade Zero. The creators will present a new look at the action and its gameplay, as well as reveal the release date.

According to insider information, the release of Phantom Blade Zero is not expected earlier than 2027 on PC and PS5, but probably, if the developers are ready to announce an exact date, the game could be released in 2026.

The events of Phantom Blade Zero take place in a fantastic universe combining Eastern culture, steampunk, and occultism. The main character is a hired assassin named Soul. During a mission, he was killed, but a mysterious Healer managed to bring Soul back to life. The hero can live for only 66 days, during which he needs to complete all his tasks.

Phantom Blade Zero is being developed on Unreal Engine 5.
