Casio has officially introduced a new series of G-Shock watches in the USA in collaboration with the Charles Darwin Foundation. Models GAB2100DF-1A and GAB2100DF-4A are now available for order in the brand's US online store for $200. Previously, the watches were sold in Europe, the UK, and Japan.

What is known

This is already the fourth collaboration of Casio with the scientific and conservation organization that focuses on the preservation of the Galápagos Islands' biodiversity. The design of the models is inspired by local fauna: the GAB2100DF-1A has a black and yellow palette symbolizing the Galápagos albatross, while the bright orange-red GAB2100DF-4A is dedicated to the Sally Lightfoot Crab. In both models, animals are depicted as a miniature arrow on the small dial at 9 o'clock.

The GA-B2100 series is a hybrid watch with analog hands and a digital display. They support Bluetooth, automatic time synchronization, phone search via the Casio Watches app, and also feature world time (38 time zones), alarms, stopwatch, timer, and automatic calendar. The case is equipped with Carbon Core Guard technology, dual LED backlight, and water resistance up to 200 m.
