Xiaomi is rumored to plan the release of three new car models

According to the Chinese news publication Sina Tech, Xiaomi is preparing three new car models aimed at family, sports, and luxury segments: the large SUV YU9, the YU7 GT crossover, and the SU7 L sedan. The new Xiaomi models complement the existing SU7 sedan and YU7 crossover.

What is known

It is reported that the YU9 SUV received the internal code name "Kunlun." The length of the car will exceed 5.2 meters, with six- and seven-seat versions available. The main feature of the model will be a range-extending power unit (EREV) where the internal combustion engine acts as a generator and one or more electric motors drive the wheels. The novelty will compete with Li Auto L9 and Huawei Aito M9.

The YU7 GT is a high-performance version of the YU7 model. Prototypes of this crossover are being tested on the German Nürburgring track. It is possible that it will become Xiaomi's first model on the European market in 2027. The novelty should become a direct competitor to Tesla Model Y Performance.

Finally, the SU7 L executive sedan will be the third addition to the SU7 series. The length of the car will be about 5.2 meters, and the wheelbase will exceed 3.1 meters. For comparison, the length of the standard SU7 is 4997 mm, and the wheelbase is 3000 mm.

Last month, Xiaomi delivered 46,249 cars, an increase of 99.73% compared to November 2024. However, compared to October 2025, the results decreased by 4.94%, marking the first decline since July.
