The first screenshots of the new Tomb Raider game with the subtitle Legacy of Atlantis have appeared online

Shortly before the start of The Game Awards 2025, where, as already known, a new game in the Tomb Raider franchise will be presented, a major leak of materials occurred.

What is known

The main art and several screenshots of the game with the subtitle Legacy of Atlantis were published on the Resetera forum. It is unknown if this is a new game or a remake of the first part of the series, but many gamers lean towards the latter, with the caveat that the developers may offer the public a "combined" Lara Croft — an image that combines the characteristic features of the heroine from the first parts of the franchise with her modern variations.

It is also possible that Legacy of Atlantis is not a remake, but rather a kind of continuation of the first Tomb Raider game, but for now this is just a guess based on Lara Croft's appearance.
