Garmin released a new update for the Bounce 2 smartwatch with LTE
Garmin has begun rolling out the stable version 5.12 software for the Bounce 2 smartwatch. This update is minor and focuses exclusively on bug fixes, without specifying any specific changes in the update log.
What is known
Bounce 2 is the second-generation children's watch with LTE, which went on sale in September 2025. The device supports voice call functions, voice message exchange, and voice command recognition. The previous major update (version 5.10) appeared just a few weeks ago and brought notable improvements, including in battery performance in weak LTE signal conditions, and also added the "Fish" activity and a number of other changes.
Firmware 5.12 is now available to all Bounce 2 owners. The update is automatically delivered when the device is connected to a smartphone via the Garmin Jr. app. It can also be installed manually using the Garmin Express program on a computer.
The starting price for the Bounce 2 model on Amazon is from $290.
