“Prince of Rock” Lenny Kravitz will challenge James Bond — he will play the role of the main antagonist in the action 007 First Light

At The Game Awards 2025, Danish studio IO Interactive presented a new trailer for the spy action game 007 First Light, which revealed the identity of the main enemy of the young James Bond.

What is known

The developers reported that the antagonist in 007 First Light will be the brutal and treacherous Bawma, whose role will be played by famous musician Lenny Kravitz.

The star rocker is pleased with his participation in the ambitious game and hopes to give the Bond franchise a new perspective on its characters.

The Bond franchise has an incredible legacy in video games, so it was great to add an entirely new character to it. He is attractive and unpredictable, there is danger in him, but there is also heart and intention. He is not just a person with power, he is someone who has to fight for every inch of it. It was incredibly nice to bring this energy into the world of agent 007.

Let us remind you, 007 First Light will tell the story of the beginning of James Bond's career, who has not yet become a super agent and is only learning at the MI6 academy the skills of weapon handling, stealth operations, and other tricks of the profession.

Despite the lack of experience, agent 007 will have to complete a difficult task and identify the traitor within MI6, then eliminate him, as well as prevent a state coup — all in the best traditions of the Bond franchise.

When to expect

The release of 007 First Light will take place on March 27, 2026, on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
