iPhone 17 Pro will have an additional display: the Selfix case will make the Apple smartphone look like Xiaomi 17 Pro

Apple is not yet planning to release an iPhone with an additional rear display, like the Xiaomi 17 Pro/Pro Max, but the idea of the Chinese manufacturer turned out to be so successful that other companies could not help but repeat it.

Accessory manufacturer Dockcase has unveiled a unique Selfix case for the iPhone 17 Pro, which adds a second display to the back panel of the smartphone.

What's known

The Selfix case is equipped with a round 1.6” touchscreen AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels. The screen does not require a separate application to be installed and works without delays. The accessory has its own power button, and there is a USB-C port with PD 3.0 support for charging, with power up to 100W.

Notably, the Selfix case has an individual slot for a microSD of up to 2TB, and photos and videos uploaded to it from the card are available in the standard iPhone gallery.

The cost and release date have not yet been announced, but the project will soon be launched on Kickstarter. Buyers will be offered Selfix in several colors: Midnight Black, Oat White, and Blush Pink.

First of all, Dockcase Selfix will help take high-quality selfies and record video blogs using not the front camera of the iPhone 17 Pro, but a much more powerful main module.
