Vivo introduced the compact flagship S50 Pro mini with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and Sony 50 MP camera

Today Vivo announced not only the affordable smartphone Vivo S50, but also the more advanced model S50 Pro mini, which features compact dimensions with flagship-level specifications and offers users a powerful processor, advanced camera, and excellent battery life.

What is known

The novelty received a 6.31” OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, operates on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip with Adreno 829 graphics, and supports LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage.

The main camera features a 50 MP Sony IMX921 sensor with an f/1.57 aperture, complemented by a 50 MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with optical zoom. The front camera also has a resolution of 50 MP.

The 6500 mAh battery provides long battery life and supports 40 W fast charging. The smartphone body is made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and has protection according to IP69 and MIL-STD-810H standards.

Vivo S50 Pro mini comes with the OriginOS 6 shell based on Android 16.

The novelty is presented in the colors Confession White, Inspirational Purple, and Space Black. The cost of the device in China starts at $525.
