Big Leak of Xiaomi 17 Ultra: High-Quality Images and Information about the Camera Module of the New Photo Flagship Published

As the big Xiaomi presentation, expected on December 26, approaches, more information about the Xiaomi 17 Ultra photo flagship is appearing online.

What is known

Earlier, insiders reported that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will revolutionize the cameraphone market — it will receive the largest main camera sensor in the industry and introduce a new generation of periscope telephoto technology, exclusively developed by Xiaomi, and the new leak reveals more details.

Insider Bald Panda reported that the smartphone will feature a flat LTPO OLED display, a top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and LPDDR5X RAM paired with UFS 4.1 storage. The novelty will come with a 6800 mAh battery and support for 100W wired charging.

However, the main feature is the huge round camera module, which includes three sensors:

• main one-inch OmniVision OV50X sensor;
• a 50 MP wide-angle camera;
• the industry's first 200 MP telephoto lens with Leica certification and optical zoom in the 3x–4.3x range.

The smartphone will also feature a multispectral sensor for accurate color reproduction.

In addition, insider nicknamed @xJohnnyManueLx published high-quality photos of Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which allow for a detailed assessment of the smartphone's design, and they fully confirm that the Chinese manufacturer almost completely repeated the design of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
