Official: Xiaomi 17 Ultra Elegant Photo Flagship Debuts December 25 — First Video Teaser Revealed

After numerous leaks, Xiaomi has finally officially announced the presentation date of its ambitious camera phone Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which is expected to revolutionize the photo flagship market.

What is Known

The Chinese giant announced that the smartphone will be presented during a grand presentation, which will be held on December 25 at 12:00 (CET).

The company released the first teaser of Xiaomi 17 Ultra, showcasing the smartphone's design, its large round camera module, as well as colors — in addition to standard black and white, customers will be offered the luxurious emerald Starry Green.

Recall, according to leaks, the smartphone will feature a flat LTPO OLED display, top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and LPDDR5X RAM paired with UFS 4.1 storage. The novelty will come with a 6800 mAh battery and support for 100W wired charging.

However, the main feature is the huge round camera module, which includes three sensors:

main one-inch OmniVision OV50X sensor;
50 MP wide-angle camera;
first-in-market 200 MP telephoto lens with Leica certification and optical zoom ranging from 3x to 4.3x.

The smartphone will also have a multispectral sensor for accurate color reproduction.
