Danish studio IO Interactive announced the postponement of the release of 007 First Light from March 27 to May 27, 2026. The reason is simple — the authors strive to release the most high-quality and polished game, and for this, they need a little more time. The developers hope that the public will highly appreciate the game about young James Bond in a modern setting and are convinced that the additional two months will only benefit the project.

007 First Light is our most ambitious project to date, and the team is completely focused on creating an unforgettable gaming experience as James Bond, combining exciting action scenes, world travel, espionage, gadgets, car chases, and much more.

The game is already fully playable from start to finish, so these additional two months will allow us to further polish and improve it, ensuring the release of the highest-quality version.

007 First Light is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
