ASUS is not going to launch the production of DRAM modules — information by Iranian media officially refuted
Yesterday, the media widely discussed the news that in mid-2026 Asus will launch the production of its own RAM modules – this information was shared by the Iranian publication Sakhtafzarmag.
Company representatives rushed to refute this rumor.
What is known
Asus representatives gave a comment to the Taiwanese publication CNA, in which they reported that they are not going to build a DRAM module production plant, and instead, the company will continue to deepen cooperation with key suppliers and respond in a timely manner to changes in the market situation.
Analysts also shared their opinion, noting that building such a production would take at least two years and require huge financial investments, so such a step would not help Asus deal with the current RAM shortage.
