ColorOS received an update at the end of 2025: new camera features and system changes
OPPO released the December ColorOS update, focusing on improving photography, system settings, and daily use.
What is known
The XPAN mode, developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, received an update for widescreen shooting: depth and frame balance have been changed. New XPAN watermarks have been added — frames that complement the film-style photos.
Night shooting features have been enhanced with the CineStill 800T filter and Neon glow effect. They highlight lighting, contrast, and atmosphere in urban landscapes or portraits with artificial light.
The "Camera" app also now features a festive "New Year 2026" watermark, allowing users to add a New Year's frame to photos.
System settings have become more flexible: users can change the size of cloned app icons, create quick shortcuts for selected actions, and move them by dragging and dropping.
Widgets can be stacked in 2×1 size on the home screen to save space. The update also includes system stability improvements, security tools, and storage cleaning — now available from the Smart Sidebar.
