Garmin released beta version 27.08 for Forerunner watches

Garmin released a new beta version 27.08 of its software for several models of the Forerunner series sports smartwatches: 165, 255, 265, 955, and 965. The update focuses on improving interface interaction and fixing bugs.

What is known

The 27.08 firmware improves the scrolling experience in the activity summary menu. It addresses a bug affecting the smoothness and accuracy of scrolling, especially after workout completion.

In addition, for Forerunner models 165, 265, 955, and 965, another issue that could block touch control for incoming calls has been fixed. Smartwatches were unresponsive during a call, but this issue is now resolved.

Garmin also mentions a number of other minor fixes and improvements, but does not provide details about them.

The beta version is now available for all users of the mentioned models. This update was released just a few weeks after version 27.05, which fixed a critical bug in swimming mode.
