Asus Introduces ExpertCenter P500 Mini Tower — A Compact and Quiet PC with Ryzen Hawk Point for Corporate and Professional Tasks
Asus has introduced the ExpertCenter P500 Mini Tower desktop computer — a compact and quiet system aimed at small and medium-sized businesses.
What is known
The new product has AMD Ryzen Hawk Point series processors, including configurations up to Ryzen 7 260, which provide high energy efficiency and stable operation under daily loads. Cooling is handled by the proprietary Tower Air Cooler system, thanks to which the noise level under load does not exceed 28.7 dB, making the model one of the quietest in its class.
Despite its compact case, the ExpertCenter P500 supports a wide range of graphics processors. Depending on the configuration, integrated Radeon 740M and 780M or discrete Nvidia graphics cards are available — from GeForce RTX 3050 to the new RTX 5050 and RTX 5060. The professional RTX A400 is also available, allowing the system to be used for graphics work, multimedia, and basic tasks in CAD applications.
The computer supports up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, is equipped with two M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots for SSDs, and a bay for a 3.5” hard drive. Some versions include an optical drive. The ExpertCenter P500 Mini Tower case measures about 296 × 155 × 347 mm and weighs 6 kg, providing easy access to components, and includes corporate security features and complies with MIL-STD-810H standard.
Despite its compact form factor, the computer offers a wide range of interfaces: The front panel features two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, and one combined audio jack. The rear panel includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, three USB ports (two USB 2.0, one USB 3.2 Gen 1), gigabit Ethernet with an LED indicator, and three audio jacks for 7.1-channel sound output. Two USB 2.0 ports support keyboard power-on.
The ExpertCenter P500 Mini Tower is designed for companies that need a reliable, quiet, and easily serviceable PC with the possibility of upgrade. When choosing a configuration with discrete graphics, it can handle not only office tasks but also more demanding workflows, including image processing and video editing.
The price and availability of the ExpertCenter P500 Mini Tower are yet to be disclosed, but the new product is likely to go on sale shortly.
