Back in 2019, Amazon introduced its first wireless earbuds, the Echo Buds, and now it's finally time for their successors - Amazon Echo Buds 2.

What's new

The new model is 20% smaller and has an improved active noise cancellation system. Whereas the previous generation model used Bose technology, Amazon has now applied its own design. According to the manufacturer, it eliminates twice as much noise by using microphones outside and inside the headphones.

There is still support for the virtual assistant Alexa. So you can control by voice the built-in functions, i.e. noise cancelling, and also music playback, make calls, check the calendar and set reminders. In addition, by the end of the year, they promise to add the VIP Filter feature from Echo Frames, which allows you to select a certain notification, filtering out the rest. A notification will be heard in your ear with a double tap or can be closed with a single tap.

Battery life for the Echo Buds 2 is 5 hours, but the charging case extends that to 15 hours. A 15-minute quick charge provides an additional 2 hours of music playback.

Price

The new Echo Buds' price ia about $120 for the standard version and $140 for the wireless charging model. By the way, the previous model starting price is $130.
