Casio is preparing to release a new version of G Shock MRG B2100D
Soon Casio may introduce a new model of the premium watch G Shock MRG B2100D 2A. It will be the second option in the MRG B2100D series after the release of the first version with a black dial in October 2024.
What is known
The novelty will feature a blue-green dial with a geometric pattern in the style of Japanese kumiko technique. Its design lets light reach the solar panel, powering the watch.
The case and bracelet of the MRG B2100D 2A are made of titanium, and the bezel is made of the ultra-hard alloy Cobarion. Like its predecessor, the new version has an analog display with three hands, a date and day of the week indicator. The watch supports Multiband 6 for automatic radio time synchronization. It is also equipped with Bluetooth for connecting to the Casio Watches app, where additional features like Phone Finder are available. Super Illuminator, a bright LED backlight, helps in low-light conditions.
The novelty is expected to be unveiled in January 2026. The cost of the MRG-B2100D-2A in Japan will be ¥572,000 (approximately $3665). For comparison: the previous model costs $4700 in the USA and €4200 in Germany. Casio has not officially announced the new version yet.
