The first giveaway in EGS 2026 offers Total War: Three Kingdoms and the space shooter Wildgate

The first giveaway of 2026 has started in the Epic Games Store, once again launching the familiar weekly format.

During the week (until the evening of January 8), everyone can get two games.

What's Known

The first offer is Total War: Three Kingdoms — a real-time strategy game from the British studio Creative Assembly, which was released in 2019 and received mixed reviews. The game takes gamers to the Three Kingdoms era in China and offers two modes: a realistic one with historically accurate events and a mythologized one where the storyline takes on unreal details, and the gameplay opens up new opportunities.

The second game is Wildgate — a colorful shooter in a space setting from Blizzard veterans. The game was released in 2025 and did not generate much enthusiasm among the public.
