Toyota, as promised, showed at Shanghai Motor Show its first electric car under bZ brand (beyond Zero).

What we know

It was Toyota bZ4X crossover. This is still a concept, but the manufacturer claims that the production version of the car will not differ much.

The bZ4X SUV received a futuristic appearance and dimensions similar to the Toyota RAV4 model. The car is built on the new e-TNGA platform. It was developed by the company in conjunction with Subaru.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet revealed the technical characteristics of bZ4X. Thanks to photos and advertising commercials we can see that the new model will have a steering panel instead of the usual steering wheel, light seats, a big screen console and a digital dashboard with unusual design.

When to expect

The serial version of Toyota bZ4X is going to be presented to the market in mid-2022. By the way, Toyota plans to release 15 models of electric vehicles under the bZ brand.
