Gamers are hard to surprise with rumors of a remaster/remake of Fallout 3, as information regularly appears online. However, authoritative insider Jez Corden reported excellent news about another equally iconic game of the franchise.

What is known

The Windows Central editor reported in his material that Bethesda plans to release a remake of Fallout: New Vegas, which many fans consider the best game in the series.

It is claimed that this decision is related to the success of the Fallout series, whose second season is directly connected with the events of New Vegas, and the first season also has many ties to the famous 2010 game by Obsidian Entertainment.

Jez Corden believes that first, the American publisher will release an updated version of Fallout 3, and only after that a remaster/remake of New Vegas will be released.

Both games will be technically similar to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, so we can expect that the graphics and visual effects will be remodeled “from scratch” on Unreal Engine 5, while physics and game mechanics will be processed with the original engine.

By the way, let us remind you that Obsidian is rumored to be developing a direct sequel to Fallout: New Vegas, and it is for this reason that one of the creators of the franchise, Tim Cain, has returned to the studio.
