Debuting Redmi Soundbar Speaker 2 Pro - a budget audio system from Xiaomi with a wireless subwoofer and RGB lighting

Xiaomi has expanded its audio lineup and released the Redmi Soundbar Speaker 2 Pro - an affordable soundbar with a wireless subwoofer and RGB lighting. The novelty is designed for use with TVs and PCs.

What is known

The Redmi Soundbar Speaker 2 Pro consists of the main soundbar and a subwoofer.

The soundbar is equipped with four radiators - two active speakers and two passive radiators. They are positioned at an angle of 53° to direct sound towards the listener and reduce distortion when placed on a table or under a TV.

The subwoofer has a 96 mm driver capable of reproducing low frequencies down to 60 Hz, providing deeper and richer bass.

No cable is needed between the soundbar and the subwoofer - they connect wirelessly, simplifying room placement. However, the subwoofer still requires power from an outlet.

Both modules are equipped with RGB lighting with multiple modes, including synchronization of the glow with the audio being played. The lighting is located at the bottom of the cases, creating a reflection effect from the surface.

The Redmi Soundbar Speaker 2 Pro is already on sale in China for about $70, with no information about a global market release yet.
