Insider Revealed the Exact Release Date for the Galaxy S26 Flagship Smartphone Lineup
The series of leaks related to the Galaxy S26 flagship smartphone series continues. The respected insider billbil-kun, whose reliability is beyond question, has answered one of the main questions potential buyers have: when to expect the release of Samsung's new gadgets.
What is known
The French journalist confirmed that the Korean company will hold the presentation of the S26 lineup on February 25, 2026. It was previously reported that this would occur in San Francisco, with the focus at Galaxy Unpacked 2026 on the AI capabilities of the gadgets.
According to sources from billbil-kun, the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, as well as new accessories for them, will go on sale on March 11.
The insider emphasizes that he is confident about this schedule for Europe, but has no doubt that the smartphones will be released on the same day in other regions as well.
Other leaks indicate that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will receive a 6.9" AMOLED screen, up to 16 GB of RAM, and up to 1 TB of flash memory (in the top configuration), a 5000 mAh battery, 60W+ charging with wireless Qi2. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 ensures high performance. The Galaxy S26 Ultra camera module will have three powerful sensors (200, 50, 50 MP), and to the right of them, Samsung will place autofocus with laser guidance and a fourth camera (12 MP).
The basic model Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus will feature slightly more modest specifications but will stand out for being released with the latest Exynos 2600 chipset — the world's first mobile chip made using the 2nm GAA (Gate-All-Around) process technology on the Korean market, while in other regions, users will only receive the Snapdragon.
