The Chinese brand Dreame, which until recently specialized in robot vacuums, continues to rapidly expand its product line and has introduced its first Leaptic Cube action camera, which actively leverages AI capabilities.

What is known

The Leaptic Cube is a compact camera aimed at travelers, athletes, and bloggers. The main feature is a detachable camera module that can be used separately from the main base at a distance of up to 30 meters. The base is equipped with a built-in LCD screen, allowing for remote control of shooting.

The camera uses a 50 MP sensor format 1/1.3" with a dynamic range of up to 13.5 stops, f/2.8 lens, and a 155° viewing angle.

The Leaptic Cube shoots in 8K resolution at 30 FPS or in 4K at 60 FPS with HDR support, and for slow-motion shooting, a 120 fps mode is available. The camera supports 10-Bit video and HLG and P-Log profiles for advanced color correction. The 4nm processor allows for high-quality night shooting.

Dreame focuses on AI algorithms that improve image detail, stabilization, and dynamic range.

The camera is available in versions with 64 or 128 GB of internal memory, and a microSD slot is located in the additional module.

The Leaptic Cube operates up to 90 minutes without the main module and up to 200 minutes with the module that contains an additional battery and has a 2.27" screen.
