Hyundai unveiled the Staria Camper concept shortly after the global premiere of the Staria Electric. The prototype was showcased at the CMT exhibition in Stuttgart, where the company is also gathering visitor feedback to assess interest in a potential series version for the European market.

What is known

If brought to production, the Staria Camper will be based on the Staria Electric. However, the exhibition sample is probably not yet fully electric. The published images show a large grille with copper accents, whereas the electric Staria has a closed front section with an integrated charging port.

The electric version of the model was presented a few days ago at the Brussels Motor Show. Sales will begin in 2026.

Staria Electric will feature an 84 kWh battery and a 160 kW electric motor, familiar from the Ioniq 5, along with an 800-volt architecture and a powerful charging system. The WLTP range is estimated at around 400 km, with final data to be announced later.

The camper is equipped with a fully integrated electrically-operated pop-up roof, painted in body color and designed considering the model's aerodynamics. Solar panels installed on the roof can generate up to 2.6 kWh of energy during five hours of sunlight for the traction battery or autonomous use of equipment.

The interior features a 36-liter refrigerator, swivel front seats, and rear seats that fold into a sleeping area for two people at the push of a button. The equipment also includes a compact sink, an outdoor shower, and an awning.
