Insider: MacBook Pro M6 with OLED screen may be released sooner than expected
The promising MacBook Pro with the M6 chip and touchscreen OLED display may be released sooner than expected, according to the reputable Korean insider yeux1122.
What is known
Recall that last fall, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reported that the next MacBook Pro, which will receive many improvements, will be released at the end of 2026 or early 2027. However, according to yeux1122, Apple may release the ambitious model earlier since Samsung Display has already launched full-scale production of OLED panels for this laptop, although it originally planned to do so only in the second quarter of 2026.
Of course, this does not mean that because a key partner is ahead of schedule, Apple will automatically revise its plans, but the likelihood is quite high, and the American giant may present the MacBook Pro M6 simultaneously with the iPhone 18 lineup in September 2026.
Recall yeux1122 demonstrated his awareness when he reported the cost of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold in advance. Incidentally, he is also confident that the first foldable iPhone will be cheaper than $2000.
As for the MacBook Pro with the M6 chip, aside from the touchscreen OLED screen and increased performance, it is expected to have a webcam hole similar to the Dynamic Island on the iPhone, and the computer's body will become lighter and thinner.
