New Quality of Old Games: Far Cry 3, Blood Dragon, and Far Cry: Primal to Get 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series
Ubisoft continues to add 60 FPS mode to its iconic games on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
In recent days, the company subtly hinted in its social networks that a few more parts of Far Cry will soon be available with enhanced performance, and now we know exactly which games it concerns and when the corresponding update will be released.
What is known
Although the Far Cry community manager in X did not make a full-fledged announcement, from a series of responses to gamers' questions, as well as from a huge number of memes of varying degrees of cringe, it became known that 60 FPS will appear on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series in the iconic Far Cry 3, the standalone satirical expansion Blood Dragon, and the unusual spin-off Far Cry: Primal, which takes place in the Stone Age.
These games are available via backward compatibility on the current generation of Sony and Microsoft consoles and starting January 21, gamers will be able to enjoy them with an increased frame rate, which is undoubtedly important for such dynamic shooters.
