Xiaomi released an ultra-compact MagSafe power bank with a capacity of 5000 mAh and thickness of only 6 mm
Xiaomi has expanded its range of mobile accessories and introduced the Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank - an ultra-thin magnetic charging device for smartphones with Qi2 standard support.
First of all, the new product will interest users of the latest iPhone models and Android gadgets with magnetic cases, such as the Xiaomi 17 series.
What is known
The thickness of the Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank is only 6 mm, and its weight is 98 g, making it one of the most compact magnetic power banks on the market.
The accessory attaches securely to smartphones and provides wireless charging. It is stated that when working with devices from the Xiaomi 17 lineup, the wireless charging power reaches 15 W, while for iPhone it is limited to 7.5 W. If you need to charge your smartphone faster - a USB-C port with charging support up to 22.5 W is provided. However, you can combine both methods by recharging two devices at once.
The new MagSafe power bank from Xiaomi features a silicon-carbon battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, enough to fully charge an iPhone. Ten levels of protection and two NTC temperature sensors ensure device safety. The case of the external battery is made of aluminum alloy, and the charge level is indicated by four LEDs.
The novelty is currently available only in Japan at a price of $50 (converted from yen). A global release of the Xiaomi Ultrathin Magnetic Power Bank is likely to follow soon.
