The flagship smartphone Realme Neo 8 will receive an 8000 mAh battery and maximum body protection — more details are emerging

The official presentation of the flagship smartphone Realme Neo 8 will take place on January 22. The Chinese brand was not in a hurry to share the details, but now they have released several teasers that revealed the basic information about the new product.

What is known

Realme Neo 8 teasers place a strong emphasis on the 8000 mAh battery, which puts the smartphone on par with the most autonomous devices in its class. According to leaks, the battery will support fast charging of up to 80 W.

Neo 8 will receive maximum protection from water and dust according to IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards, a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint scanner that responds even to wet hands, and a Crystal Armor coating to protect the screen from scratches and impacts.

According to insider information, Realme Neo 8 will be equipped with a 6.78” AMOLED display from Samsung with a 1.5K resolution and a frequency of 165 Hz. Maximum performance will be ensured by the top-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, complemented by up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 flash memory.

The smartphone will offer a 16 MP front camera and a triple module with a 50 MP main sensor with optical stabilization, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle, and a 50 MP periscope module with 120x zoom.

Realme Neo 8 will be available in Origin White, Mecha Grey, and Cyber Purple colors.
