New record: Xiaomi SU7 Max traveled 4,264 km in one day
Sedan Xiaomi SU7 Max traveled 4,264 km in a day, surpassing the previous record of Xpeng P7 (3,961 km), as well as the performance of Porsche Taycan and Mercedes-Benz CLA.
What is known
The test took place on an oval track 7.8 km long in Yancheng (China). The vehicle maintained a speed of up to 240 km/h. The record was made possible thanks to an efficient thermal management system, a battery with a capacity of 101.7 kWh, and an 897-volt architecture that allows for a range of up to 670 km in 15 minutes of charging.

The updated SU7 Max is equipped with V6s Plus electric motors (up to 22,000 rpm), develops 495 kW (673 hp) and 838 Nm, a top speed of 265 km/h, and a range of up to 835 km. The model will be released on the Chinese market in April 2026 at a price from 309,900 yuan (about 38,000 euros).
