Seletti introduced the Bic Lamp — a lamp in the shape of the iconic ballpoint pen

The Italian brand of designer interior items Seletti presented an unusual lamp at the Maison & Objet 2026 exhibition in Paris, the source of inspiration for which is known to almost every person on Earth.

What is known

The Italians showed the Bic Lamp — it is made in the form of an enlarged iconic Bic Cristal ballpoint pen, which recently turned 75 years old.

Bic Lamp is an exact copy of the original, but instead of a cartridge inside, there is an LED tube (2400 lm).

The lamp is made to a scale of 12:1 and measures 1.8 meters in length.

Like the pen, the Bic Lamp is offered in three colors: blue, black, and red and provides for both ceiling and wall mounting.

Bic Lamp is expected to be on sale later this year for $350/ €300.
