It's no longer a secret that Samsung is preparing a line of magnetic accessories for the Galaxy S26 flagship smartphone series, which will be the first in the brand's history to support the Qi2 standard without the need for special cases.
It is known that among the gadgets will be the first magnetic external power bank from Samsung, and today the first reliable information about it has appeared.
What is known
The Wireless Power Consortium website has published a render and technical details of Samsung's magnetic portable charging device. The new product has model number EB-U2500 and features a 5000mAh battery.
The power bank indeed supports Qi2, making it comparable to popular MagSafe accessories for iPhone. The device provides 15W wireless charging power, and via cable, it increases to 25W.
It is expected that the external battery will be officially presented and released simultaneously with the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra — their announcement is expected on February 25, with a launch on March 11, 2026.
