Samsung unveils Galaxy M42 5G: AMOLED display, Snapdragon 750G chip, 48MP quad camera and 5000mAh battery for $295

Samsung, as promised, announced today in India a new M-series smartphone.

About the model

The device is named Galaxy M42 5G and it became a copy of the previously released Galaxy A42 5G. The device also has a 6.6-inch Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with FHD + resolution, an under-the-screen fingerprint scanner, a 5000 mAh battery, 6/8 GB of RAM, a quad camera with a 48 megapixel main module and a 20 megapixel front camera.

Price and when to expect

Galaxy M42 5G will go on sale in India on May 1st. The basic modification of a smartphone with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM will cost $295, and the top one for 8/128 GB will cost $322.
